Hi again everybody and welcome to update 22 - 'The
Railway Line'
Today
I am happy to tell you my third video is now on the SC Video page. You can go to it by
clicking the Videos button on my Main Page. It's the video of my messy cake shoot (update
16). Treat yourself to a download and see me covered in cake, cream and chocolate sauce.
On
to today's story. Mr Clicky mentioned recently that he knew somewhere that had a railway
halt that was very secluded without trains passing by too often.
Well,
one of the things I've always fancied trying is to be tied to a railway line, like the
heroine in all those old black and white movies from years ago. Strange the things I want
to do. I wonder if I suggest some of the other things on my 'bucket list that he would be
interested in shooting them. Knowing his warped sense of humour, he probably would be!
Anyway,
off we go to this place in the country and it was as remote as he said. The nearest houses
(the village it serves) are nearly a mile away. In fact, to get a train to stop, you have
to flag it down like a bus!
So
there we are on the platform, and I decide to have a go at my dream and wait to see if
somebody rescues me just before the loco comes thundering down the track.
It
was a funny sensation and I did keep a sharp lookout for trains, just in case Mr Clicky
was trying to get me wound up again by making 'choo-choo' noises. But I did it (although
it was rather chilly) and I hope you like the pictures to prove it.
I
think we both enjoyed it today and actually remained on good terms. In discussion
afterwards we thought to do it again, this time in period costume with me 'tied' to the
railway line and shot in black and white for the old time appearance. Let me know your
thoughts about this on mollymaracas@gmail.com
As
an aside to this, we were interrupted by a gentleman who had come to catch a train, but
had gotten his times wrong and was 30 minutes early! The poor soul was really embarrassed
- I don't think he'd ever been confronted by a gorgeous semi-naked model before. I did ask
him if he wanted to have his picture taken with me, but he blushed and refused.
Mr
Clicky and I had a good laugh about it all, the chances of getting caught coming to
happen, but an otherwise pleasant shoot. I think this was the reason we left the shoot
happy. I'm sure it made Mr C happy anyway, because he then took me for lunch as a
celebration for a good days work.
